Beauty, Oh Beauty.

I am so honored to be featured on Book Lovers column of Tribun Jateng today. My review of the book The Bluest Eye written by Toni Morrison is written there, as my purpose of review is to give the readers a portrait to stop hating themselves for everything they are not, and start loving themselves for everything that they are are. The Bluest Eye is being one of my favorite books of the lifetime because the story gives us message to accept and love ourselves, as no one is going to love you if you do not love yourselves first.
Beauty is not about having a pretty face. It is about having a pretty mind, a pretty heart. Oh, and a pretty soul too.
The beauty of a woman is not in a facial mode, but the true beauty in a woman is reflected in her soul. No matter what color of your eyes, hair, or skin, you will always be looked beautiful if are you nice to people. It is not always physical beauty that makes a person beautiful, it is the heart that matters the most. Whatever your race is, accept and love yourself, because loving yourself is the greatest revolution.

On Harian Pagi Surya

I was so so so honored that Harian Pagi Surya, one of the biggest printed media in East Java Area put me on one page in Female column. The article was written concerning my experience in having a job as journo in my tender age. Part I liked is that Surya gave my fave quote as the sub-title, "Only dead fish go with the flow". A special thanks sent to the writer:) #latepost #Iwasfeaturedlastmonth #betterlatethannever

I Choose to be Happy

Don't put your happiness
in other people's hands.
They'll drop it.

They'll drop it every time.

Happiness is a state of mind, is an absolute truth. Our mind is where happiness lives; where it begins and ends. Everytime I feel sad, I realize that I just waste my time. My time is not worth for being sad. Life is a choice, but being happy is a must.
I take a fancy in sharing my thoughts on the blog, instead of my fashion daily or my duty as TV reporter. Here I say, never put the key of your happiness in someone else's pocket. They may lose it, they may lose it, someday. Don't depend your happiness on something you may lose, because once you lose it then you'll lose your happiness as well. No one is in charge of your happiness except you, darling. Create your own happiness: Do what you love, focus on the good in the world, create positivity. As Mandy Hale said, stop giving people power to control your smile, your worth, and your attitude. Because the only keeper of your happiness is you. Find your own reasons to smile, due waiting for someone else to make you happy is the best way to be sad. Remember, happiness starts with you. Not with your friends, or your relationship, or even your job, but with you.

I've decided: I am in charge of how I feel and today I am choosing happiness. :)

Things to Note

Everytime you feel like you (almost) give up.....
Stay alive. Life has knocked me down for many times. It has shown me things I never wanted to see. I have experienced sadness and failures, but one thing for sure; I always get up. Yes, you need to learn to embrace failure and to look at what you can learn from it, instead of letting it make you feel like you’re unworthy of success. Though nobody wants to make a failure, failure helps you learn how to avoid future problems. Let’s say Colonel Sander, best known for creating a fried chicken recipe that become the world's fast-food chicken chain named Kentucky Fried Chicken, he has tried 1009 times to make the recipe before finally he got his success. So, how many time you've tried? Every time you fail, don’t just let it make you feel worse, but sit down and think about what you’ve learned from it. Think about what you could have done differently to succeed the next time around. Cmon, as long as you are alive, anything is still possible.
You are stronger than you think. There is something inside you that is greater than any obstacle. Work on erasing self-doubt and feeling like you can achieve anything you put your mind to. If you’re the first person to doubt yourself, then anyone you meet will follow you. Whenever you find yourself doubting how far you can go, remember about how far you have come. Beyond than that, remember everything you have faced, all the battles you have won, and all the fears you have overcome. You were given this life because you are strong enough to live it. You were strong enough to get this far, you are strong enough to keep going. If you can bear in mind that you are stronger than you think, then life will get easier. Being weak is easier but being strong is the answer.
God gives you answers in three ways: Yes// Yes, but not now// I have a better plan. If He thinks something that you want is the best for you, then undoubtedly He will give what you want at that time. Not now, He asks you to wait and give you the best. He said I have a better plan, so He has a way of surprising you with unexpected things that will make you happier than you originally planned. As I look back on my life, I realize that every time I thought I was being rejected from something good, I was actually being re-directed to something better. God is good, God is pretty good.

The Wanderlust

She was free in her wildness. She was a wanderness, a drop of free water. She belonged to no man and to no city -- Roman Payne. Epic words detected! Well these photos were actually taken a (not really) long ago but I just now posted it hehehe. If you notice I actually had taken some picts before in this place, yes Volkswagen land. Everytime I visit this place, it is like shouting let's go out of here hahaha! Wanderlust atmosphere is here. But yea I am always in love with the city or country I've never been to and people I've never met before. It's pleased. You feel the same?

On Tribun Jateng

I feel like there is butterfly on my stomach everytime I find my self featured on mass media. There is always something to be told on the featured, like my job as a journo, my achievement that lately I got as Best TV Presenter, until my hobby that is writing on this hello behel blog. Today's edition is in local newspaper Tribun Jateng, sharing my experience in starting the blog: When no one listens to you, write it.

Well, I guess by time I start to love my self, I love with no limitations, for everything I am. There are too many days wasted comparing myself to others and wishing to be something that im not. Everybody has their own strengths and weaknesses. It is only when you accept everything that you are -- and you are not -- that you will truly succeed. Stop comparing your beginning to someone else's middle. There is no prettier, smarter, funnier, or anything else. If she/he is awesome, you must be awesome too. You might think the the grass is greener on the other side, but if you take the time to water your own grass, it would be just as green. Everyone has their own path and behind-the-scene life, neither did I. Every of us was created with our own uniqueness and talent, so be your own light shine and sparks like a diamond among others. After all, the only person you should try to be better than, is the previous you, the person you were yesterday, not others.

The Dead Fish

Having a little time to take a breath in the midst of rush is something to be thankful for. Too lazy to dress up, so I was just wearing a white t-shirt combined with ripped jeans and my Vans sneakers while having a quality time with my girl..:)

Photos taken using Go Pro Hero 4

Fish n Co. -- Such a recommended place to have some lunch. On scale 1 to 10, the meal is on scale 9, it has a very yummy taste! Me likeeey. (Dead (well cooked one I mean)) fish is tasty, but do you know that only dead fish go with the flow? Forget the meal, I talk about quote.

Probably I am the one of million people who is deeply in love with those words. Such a beautiful words which have powerful meaning. We all know, a dead fish can't swim, obviously. He just floats along in the direction that the stream is flowing... It is similar as someone who has no drive or push is just willing to go along with the flow. They only follow whatever the world throws at them. They are just being average, not willing to push or drive himself to do better. Result: their life are just so-so. I will be the one who is standing in the front line as the person who can not approve that theory. YOLO friends, serve the best version of you. Go the way(s) you wanna go. Overcome obstacles or difficulties in your life if you want to achieve your goal. Keep going different ways to get to the point you want to be at. Dont be afraid, you are the captain of your own destiny. I love to ask myself periodically, just to check on my own progress, if I'm doing what I want to be doing. And the fact is I prefer doing the opposite, instead of staying in comfortable house with its relaxed and mindful atmosphere, I go and get myself a challenging things to do. Believe me that  breaking your normal pattern is a good idea to do because it enriches your life. Therefore, dont be a dead fish so that you can taste something more owzom than now.

Have a wow life, gorgeous!:)

October Coming Town

October is coming the town.
Anyone's exited? *put my hands up*

October, October. Im so glad that I live in a world where October exists. I always love this month, the sweetest dramas, the full of happiest moments, the time where I can taste a pleasant smell of the ground after the rain; petrichor. Well, just like the jet, time flies beyond fast. I feel like just yesterday I celebrate the new year, but see the tenth month of the year is right around the corner now.

Sometimes I find it's crazy how life can change in a blink of an eye. A life change is kinda a fixed thing that happens to human all over the world so you cant stop it to not happen because it will, someday, in the right time. No need to afraid, if you can not stop the waves but at least you can learn how to surf, is it?:) I never ever afraid of change. Because I always believe that by change I may end up losing something good, but I'll probably end up gaining something better. Life is full of unexpected surprises. Indeed, not all of these surprises are pleasant, therefore you need to be ready for what life brings you. Life's so challenging, huh? Then we should be happy, challengers. Ok, I should admit that somewhile I miss how things used to be. On the other hand, I can admit too that I sincerely have accepted the fact that things have changed. Whatever change im dealing with, I dont take it hard since I understand that change improves my life. I know life quickly changes, but I know better that the sun still always rises the next day.
